Fantastic. Amazing. Delicious. Superb. These are all words that I would use to describe Si Senor Fresh Mex.
For starters I have to give a thank you to a local Jacksonville blog, "Forget Jack, Jill Wants a Snack." I stumbled across this blog and read the review of Si Senor Fresh Mex and decided that I had to try it, and thank goodness I did!
I went there for lunch and arrived just after 11:10 and the the place was empty besides me and the Owners. I got to chat with them about their menu items and how I found their restaurant. They were very nice and friendly!
I decided to order something that was not on the menu, but I saw it on Yelp and had to ask if they could make it for me. It's the Pollo Asado Fries, which apparently is a favorite menu item in the San Francisco, CA area. The owner was happy to make it for me even though it wasn't on the menu.
Once I ordered they gave me a basket of chips (which were delicious) and a bowl so I could visit their Salsa Bar that is filled with their homemade Salsas.

I decided to go with half Al Pastor and half Ranchera, both were fantastic and fresh tasting.
The Pollo Asado Fries comes with the fries, tender and juicy steak, a white cream sauce (not sure exactly what it was, but it was amazing), and pico de gallo. I ordered mine with no pico because I'm just not crazy about it.
You can make your entree a meal for a few bucks extra and you get a side of beans and rice and a fountain drink. The beans and rice were also very tasty.
Even the restaurant logo is awesome! I'm pretty sure that's the owner in the picture, which makes it even better!
Conclusion: I love it! I absolutely can't wait to go back, and I plan on taking my friends and family there to support this great restaurant.
